How to make a calm down bottle

Sensory bottles are also called calm down bottles. Calm down bottles help young children relax and soothe themselves by focusing on the motion happening inside the calm down bottle.

Seño Ruth nos enseña en el siguiente video cómo hacer un Bote de la Calma que puede servir para jugar libremente y para enseñarle a regularizar sus emociones.
Seño Ruth shows us how to make a Calm Jar in the following video which can be used to play freely and to control the child's emotions.

¿Cómo funciona?
Cuando esté en un momento tenso que necesite regularse, nos sentaremos junto a él/ella, le pediremos que agite con fuerza el bote de la calma y le explicaremos que lo que hay en su interior está como sus emociones, descontroladas. Le diremos que mire el bote y se concentre cómo se calma lo que hay en su interior, al igual que puede pasar con sus emociones.
¡Qué relajante!

How does it work?
When the child is stressed and he/she needs to control him/herself, we'll sit next to the child and we'll ask him/her to shake the calm jar strongly. We'll explain him/her that what is inside the jar is just like their emotions; out of control. We'll tell them to look at the jar and to concentrate how the inside of the jar calms down, just like his emotions.
How relaxing!

Actividades Montessori con cubiertos - Montessori Activity with cutlery:

Seño Laura nos propone una actividad muy interesante y sencilla para que la hagamos en casa con cubiertos. Con esta actividad vamos a trabajar la concentración y la atención.
Haremos unas tarjetas pequeñas en las que dibujaremos 3 cubiertos diferentes y en distintas posiciones (como se muestra en la imagen) y después ellos/as tendrán que hacerlo con los cubiertos. 

Seño Laura show us a very interesting and simple activity to do at home with the cutlery. This activity will help to stimulate the concentration and the attention.We will make some cards in which we will draw 3 different cutlery placed in different positions (as shown in the image) and we will ask the children to copy the image placing in the same position with the right cutlery.
